Healthy Fudge

So I’ve been on a no-sugar thing since November 1st and ending on Thanksgiving. It’s been remarkably easy for me this time and I think I’m going to make this a lifestyle (with your occasional exceptions, I refuse to live a life void of indulgences).

One thing that has helped me has been having this healthy fudge to munch on. It is de-licious! My girls love it and it’s actually very good for them.

The main ingredients being coconut oil and peanut butter means they are packed with calories and they are guaranteed to get their daily dose of coconut oil. (Coconut oil is a superfood, read all about it.)

These take about 5 minutes to make and 30 minutes or so to set up. Wether you are on a no sugar kick or not, this is a great way to get your daily dose of coconut oil.

Healthy Fudge

1/2 cup coconut oil, melted
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
1/4 cup maple syrup
2 TBSP unsweetened cocoa
1 tsp vanilla
Pinch of sea salt

Line an 8×8 pan with foil. Add peanut butter, syrup, cocoa, vanilla and salt to a bowl. Melt oil and pour into bowl. Mix until thoroughly combined. Pour into lined pan and put in the freezer until solid. Store in the freezer.

BAM! Done and delicious!

And don’t worry about the maple syrup, it’s good for you too! Sweeter than honey so you use less!
